Sutra needs one thing to begin: your website address. In about a minute it reads the site, scores it four ways, learns what the business offers and lists what to do first. Your part is confirming what it learned and choosing how much it may do.
Enter your website.
Type the address you would give a customer, such as yourbusiness.com. Sutra finds the version your server actually uses, reads the robots.txt file and sitemap, and checks up to 25 pages. It reads public pages only and changes nothing.
Agency mode keeps several client sites in one workspace with their scores side by side. Individual mode focuses on your own business. Add a client the same way: just their address.
Read your four scores.
Each score runs from 0 to 100 and opens to the evidence behind it. Treat them as a compass: what improved, what slipped, and where the next hour is best spent.
- Site Health: technical issues on the pages Sutra read, graded as errors, warnings and notices
- Authority: how established the domain is, from public link, popularity, crawl and age data
- AI Visibility: how often AI answers to buyer questions name you, against your competitors
- AI Readiness: whether answer engines can read your site and describe the business accurately
Confirm what Sutra learned.
During the first analysis Sutra drafts a profile from your own pages: what you offer, who it is for, how the site sounds, the facts it can cite, likely competitors and the questions buyers ask. Open Business details, correct anything that is off, and save. That confirmation is what every later draft builds on.
Keep the competitors that matter and add any it missed. Edit the buyer questions in AI visibility so they sound like your customers. Leave your brand name out of them; the point is to see whether AI names you on its own.
Work through Do this next.
The dashboard lists the most valuable work first. Many items carry a one-click action: a better title and description, structured data, an llms.txt file, robots.txt rules for AI crawlers, or an article that answers a question AI could not answer about you.
Connect Google Search Console when you want real query and page data from a property you control. Connect WordPress only when you want Sutra to publish new posts.
Start with a review, then find your rhythm.
Every site starts in Check only. Allow drafts when you want Sutra to write, and review the first few closely. Set a daily AI allowance before allowing recurring work.
Once the work fits your expectations, decide whether publishing should be allowed. Each scheduled check updates the scores, so you can see what changed. You can pause the site or change its policy at any time.
